I am currently a Chemistry student at the University of Nottingham. At school i enjoyed mathematics and science the most as it intrigued me how many topics across the subjects linked together and helped me understand the mechanisms of the natural world in which we live in. I think that being able to understand and gain key skills and techniques taught at GCSE level creates a strong foundation to be able to understand more complex theories in further education, I still use skills learnt during school everyday for my Chemistry degree. I understand that not every student learns the same way, so adjusting teaching methods to fit the student's needs is how I can create enjoyable and easy to understand lessons.
