Tutor Profile
Harry L
I am currently studying for a PhD in biomaterials at The University of Manchester. Biomaterials is the intersection between materials science and biology and my project is investigating graphene-enhanced orthopaedic implants for improved tissue regeneration. I previously took a BSc in Biotechnology and an MRes in Tissue Engineering for Regenerative Medicine at Manchester. I love biology and science because they help you to understand the world which is immensely satisfying. In medicine, we use science to improve people's lives which is also extremely rewarding. My interests are not limited to science however: in my spare time I enjoy reading fiction and non-fiction, cycling and playing the piano.
