I am a postgraduate Law student and also have a first-class Masters degree from UCL, specialising in Modern British History, as well as a BA in History from UCL. I am eager to tutor in a range of humanities subjects, including History, Politics, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Classics, English Literature and English Language for all ages. I approach teaching with a well-rounded perspective and always ensure that I am well-informed about background information on all topics. This allows me to educate the students but also keep them engaged, as lessons must be as fun as they are informative. The humanities also have plenty of room for debate, and I incorporate this into my classes to ensure that my pupils develop their critical thinking and analytical skills alongside content. This sets them up nicely for essays in public exams and boosts their confidence. Additionally, I am well-positioned to guide children through non-verbal and verbal reasoning tests, having plenty of experience doing this with former babysitting clients.
