Kylie Wates
Hello! My name is Kylie and I am currently studying BSc Business Management at King’s College London. I love all things economics related because it is all around us, in everything we do in life. But I also love languages, too. I was born in Japan, and have grown up speaking both Japanese and English. Learning French and Spanish at school meant that I could broaden my horizons even more, and learn about two entirely new cultures, and that’s what I think is the best thing about languages. Aside from academics, I enjoy watching films and playing video games. I also like to bullet journal and scrapbook a lot!
Shirley Philbert
As a fully fluent bilingual French speaker and an enthusiast for all things nature I principally enjoy tutoring Biology and languages. I am a recent Zoology graduate of The University of Manchester, aspiring for a career in Wildlife and conservation education. I have been a Tutor since Sixth form working in classes, small groups and 1:1 sessions with additional experience as a Wildlife education officer and as a French Language assistant in a prestigious college. As a student, personal tutors gave me the extra boost I needed to achieved my desired grades allowing me to feel more confident at school and to have more opportunities going into further education and deciding my career path. This is why I choose to tutor and support students at all stages of their school journey.

Hello! My name is Freya and I’m a university student based in London. I study History and French BA at King’s College London. I am a voracious reader, always doodling, always writing. I love language-learning (not just French) and am fascinated by linguistics. Most importantly, I have a long-held passion for my subjects that I would like nothing more than to share!
