Tutor Profile
Caleb C
π Hi! My name is Caleb, and I am currently a 2nd year undergraduate student at King's College London, majoring in Computer Science. Having excelled in my GCSEs and A-Levels, I know how rewarding and challenging they are for students. I want to see the next generation succeed in their academics, drawing from the knowledge and first-hand experience that I have. Much of what I learnt in my GCSEs and A-Levels has been fundamental to my current degree and so I truly believe in their importance to prepare a young person for their future. β€οΈ My passion for all things Mathematics began at The Compton School, where I achieved 9s and 8s in my GCSEs. After my GCSEs, I joined Woodhouse College where I studied 4 A-Levels (A*A*A*A*), which included Further Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science. It was here that my teachers showed a deep passion for the subjects they taught. They truly knew the subject and were key in pushing me to achieve academic success. Just as my teachers did for me, I will also aim for each of my tutees to build their motivation and passion for their chosen subjects. π The current subjects that I tutor are Mathematics (11+ & GCSE) and π₯οΈ Computer Science (11+, GCSE & A-Level). Given how competitive and challenging academics can be, I understand and have felt first-hand the struggles that students may face. In all my sessions, my focus is to provide a safe space to allow my tutees to develop and challenge themselves so that they can learn at their best. π My hobbies include playing the piano β of which I achieved Grade 8, coding side applications and spending hours in the kitchen attempting to follow cooking recipes.
