I am a current student at St George’s University of London studying Biomedical science. I have developed a deep appreciation for science for a variety of reasons: It helps me understand the world around me, it helps give logical meanings to chaotic and complicated concepts, there is always something to learn and it has a huge impact on human life. Outside of studying I enjoy working on a variety of crochet projects, I hold teaching sessions with children as a member of the Teddy Bear hospital society and I volunteer as a dementia patient befriender.
